Here’s my latest card creation for the Monday House-Mouse Challenge Add Some Sparkle to Challenge HMFMC149. There’s a rhine stone sparkly boarder at the bottom and sparkles in the garland the bird is delivering… and I couldn’t resist, once again, using the “Wink of Stella” sparkle pen brush on the wings and the ribbon. With the extremely hot weather last week, I just had to make a winter card to remind me that cooler weather is on the way !
Here’s another entry into the House-Mouse Monday Food Challenge HMFMC #148-FOOD. I had a lot of fun creating this one. I used colored pencils for most of the image except for the pink on the cabinet doors. I didn’t have the right color pink I wanted in a colored pencil so I lightly brushed the cabinet doors with Tim Holtz distress ink in Spun Sugar. I put polka dot paper on lime green card stock and put a light pink and lime green border around the image. I put a little string with a bow on the card and then added pearls and small rhine stones to give it a little pizzaz. I also brushed the spoons, the cabinet and the floor lines with the “Wink of Stella” clear glitter brush.
Here’s my newest card creation. I created this one for the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge with the theme of food HMFMC #148-FOOD.
To make the card I used the Tim Holtz distress ink pads in Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar to create the textured card stock that the stamped image is attached to and then I layered that on top of a close colored pink patterned paper. I attached it to the card that I made out of pink card stock. I used colored pencils for the image and I created the gifts from a Martha Stewart boarder punch and punched the balloon from a Martha Stewart paper punch as well. I then used the “Wink of Stella” glitter brush to add some shimmer to the icing, presents, and the balloon and put foam tape behind the presents and balloon to make them look 3D.
Notice, I tied the balloon to Amanda’s tail so it wouldn’t blow away! …Enjoy!
